Eat, Drink, Laugh and be Entertained with Family, Friends and Neighbors

El Dorado professional dinner theater Mission state

 To have a permanent home/building in the city of  El Dorado, Kansas. To play now and have fun.


To bring original, live theater, music, food, and drinks in a clean, safe and welcoming building in  El Dorado, Kansas. That is wheelchair accessible with good parking. Doing 3-5 shows a week of original scripts, music and children's theater on a stage with good sound, lights, actors, singers, dancers and a live band. For families of El Dorado, Augusta, Towanda, Leon and other surrounding towns.


All staff members mission is too make people smile be polite, and say please, thank you, you’re welcome, how may I help you thank you for coming to our show and have a nice day. Create super fantastic customer service from the red carpet outside to seating the customer to serving during dinner and shows.

  1. Dist. 142 S main St. no calls back from 142 or interest from 142?
  2. PAC. Price to high to stage a show in the PAC.
  3. Oil museum. Price to high to rent and produce a show in.
  4. Chamber of commerce. Price to high to rent and produce a show in.
  5. Train depot city El do. Cost of labor to set up and strike show to high.
  6. Senior Center. To high in cost, and show set up and strike time
  7. Buying a budling in El Do. Commercial taxation, mortgage  along with electricity, water, trash cost to high.
  8. El Dorado Theater a.k.a. Club Vaudeville. Talked with owner when first opened he has no interest in working with us.
  9. Elks Club. Pitched our theater idea two times and was turned down.
  10. American Legion. Still waiting to hear back from them?

None of these fit our cost or need for a permanent home to keep cost low and have cash flow and ROI. And some don't have a need or want to work with us. Still looking for a location. 11/26/24

Timm is creator and executive director of El Dorado Dinner Theater. He has over 40 plus years of experience being a professional live performer, musician, band leader, music director, actor, drumming tap dancer, singer, producer, A.V., sound tech, professional photographer, song writer, orchestrator, play write, music publisher, Record executive, direct mail-web-music promoter and music teacher in the music and entertainment filed. Craig Yaryan Finance and Project Director

EXECUTIVE PROFILE

Craig has a lifelong history in the City of El Dorado and the State of Kansas, with years of leadership at both the

local and state level, with a strong background in both the Civic and Financial Industry. He has successfully

managed a business on main street in El Dorado for 16 years.

He is highly experienced at working with and successfully coordinating activities with various local organizations

such as El Dorado Main Street, El Dorado CVB, El Dorado Chamber of Commerce, El Dorado Inc, and the City of

El Dorado.

He served as President of El Dorado Main Street for two years ending in 2016. During this period he helped to

successfully revitalize the El Dorado Main Street program and set the organization on a successful financial path.

He successfully helped make the El Dorado Main Street programs relevant to the needs of the El Dorado

community.

He served as President of the Kansas Association of Mortgage Brokers for eight consecutive terms ending in

2015. He successfully led the organization through the most troubled and challenging time in the history of the

lending industry. He has presented expert testimony for both the Kansas House and Senate at the request of the

State Bank Commissioners Office. He works closely with the State Bank Commissioners Office on various

legislative issues including advising the Commissioner on the possible effects of various legislation on consumers.

And has held various training seminars for the State Bank Commissioners Office and their bank examiners.

Represented the State of Kansas at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers Board for eight years, working

closely with various members of Congress.

Elwanda Buckland Administrative, management and creative adviser

EXECUTIVE PROFILE

 I am Elwanda’s Buckland, I was born and raised in Great Bend, KS and moved to Eureka in 2008. I am a Registered  Nurse and have been for 24 years. I work for Humana, Inc., as a Manager of Utilization Management. I have been at this position for 7 years. My daughter loves to sing, perform in plays and all things music/theater. 


Leon Leachman City adviser

EXECUTIVE PROFILE

 

Commissioner Leon Leachman is serving his first term in public office. He was elected in November, 2021 and began his first term in January of 2022. 

He currently serves on the El Dorado Main Street Board along with serving on the Foundation Board at Butler Community College (President of the Board), USD 490 Board of Education from 2005 -2013, Participant in USD 490 “I Can Read” Program for 15 years, Founding Board of Directors Butler County Habitat for Humanity, Member of “Save the Depot Committee”, Past President and member of Big Brothers an Sisters of Butler County Board of Directors among several other local organizations and non-profits. 

Commissioner Leachman was raised in Benton, Kansas. He graduated from Circle High School in 1967 and earned his Associates i Electronics Technician from the United Electronics Institute in 1969. He then served in the United State Army with the rank of Sergeant from 1969 to 1972.  After being Honorably discharged he attended Coffeyville Community College and graduated with his associates in mathematics. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Friends University in 1996.  Leon has been married to his wife, Jodie for 53 years. They have three children, Christie, Toni and Becky and blessed with seven grand children and two great grand children. 

Commissioner Leachman retired from the refinery after 35 years of service. He currently teaches Economics and Managerial Accounting at Hesston College
